At Retino, we build post-purchase care software trusted by more than 2,000 online stores. Companies like 4camping, Grizly, Knihy Dobrovský, Sconto Nábytek, and many others rely on us. This area of e-commerce is technically demanding and, at the same time, critical for the shift of retail into the online world. Our products are used daily by hundreds of thousands of customers.

We're not a startup searching for direction. We have 9 years on the market behind us, steady growth, and a clear vision. We've processed over 3 million returns and cover 26% of all shipments in Czech e-commerce. We're a profitable company — runway isn't something we worry about. We've also earned the trust of investors like Jiří Hlavenka (Kiwi.com) and Martin Rozhoň (Vivantis), who invested millions of crowns into Retino at the very beginning and are still with us today.

In Central Europe, we're among the leaders, and our solution is now used by online stores in more than 20 countries. But our ambitions reach further — we want to build a product with global impact. And to do that, we're looking for people who want to be part of it.

We're looking for a People Manager — someone who will be in charge of making sure Retino has the right people on board and that they're happy to stay with us. Someone who genuinely enjoys working with people and wants to build an environment where people want to work.

At Retino, we have a team of capable people who respect each other and enjoy working together — and we want to keep it that way as we continue to grow. We're looking for someone who will help us build a team that takes Retino further — while preserving what makes Retino, Retino.

In this role, you'll cover the full spectrum — from recruitment and onboarding, through caring for current colleagues and the company culture, to HR processes and employee experience. There's plenty of room to shape things in your own way.

Wymagania

Specifically, we'd welcome you if:

  • You have experience in an HR, people, or talent role — ideally in a tech, SaaS, or dynamically growing company where you've worked on both the strategic and operational side.
  • You enjoy recruitment — you know how to find the right people, reach out to them, and walk them through the process in a way that makes them happy to stay even after signing.
  • You understand what makes a company culture, and you know that it can't be manufactured through a "culture program" — it's built through everyday decisions.
  • You use AI tools for screening and research, but key communication and decisions about people stay with you.
  • You have strong communication skills and empathy — you can lead a conversation with a candidate as well as deliver sensitive feedback to a colleague.
  • You're discreet — you understand that access to information about people is a significant responsibility.
  • You know the basics of labor law — or you can quickly learn what you need.
  • You see things through to the end and take ownership of them.
  • You're based in Prague — in this role, you'll need to be on-site in person occasionally.
  • You speak Czech and English.

  • Lead recruitment across the company — from defining the profile, through sourcing and screening candidates, all the way to final interviews and offers.
  • Onboard new colleagues — so that their first months with us are productive and so that they feel they've come to the right place.
  • Take care of employee experience — so that colleagues enjoy working with us and know where to turn whenever they need something.
  • Build the company culture together with leadership — events, communication, environment. Everyday practice, not a PR pose.
  • Run HR processes and administration — employment contracts, documents, an overview of the team's status.
  • Support leadership in decisions about people — feedback, performance, growth plans, organizational changes.
  • Bring your own ideas for how to improve both processes and culture. Ideas really do get heard here.

Proces rekrutacji

  • We'll get back to you within a few days of your application and have a short call by phone or video.
  • Next comes an interview with Petr (CEO).
  • We'll meet in our office in the center of Prague to make sure there's a good personal fit too.
  • If both sides feel it's a match, we shake on it.

We won't drag you through months of interviews. We make decisions quickly and take care to keep the process fair to both sides.
